Hi! My name is Woo Sung Choi and I’m 26 years old and I come from Pusan in Korea. I am a 3rd year undergraduate student of Dong-a University. My najor is electrical engineering and my grade average is A. Before I came here, I worked as Vas music recording studio as an assistant engineer and I also worked at the Pusan International Rock Festival as a musical instrument consultant. At aspect New York, I did my internship at Psuedo, which is an Internet music company. They show thousands of music videos on their web site, and shoot their own music videos and dramas. (It is really fun and cool!!) If there is a concert of a famous celebrity in Manhattan, they go and shoot an interview with the celebrity. I worked there as a web manager. I checked all the music videos on our website every day to make sure that they were working properly. I also updated new hot music videos daily. Sometimes, I promoted our company on the internet. If there was a music video shooting schedule, I worked as an assistant staff member. These kinds of experiences were so helpful because I wanted to be part of the American music scene. I want to be a researcher of musical instruments so these kinds of experiences gave me a lot of knowledge about music within a real music field. I also had many opportunities to practice English conversation with Americans. My co-workers were so kind to me and taught me some professional words and skills. This internship program was really helpful and I made so much progress with my English skills.
