최근 한국에서도 다양한 축제를 개최하여 해외 관광객을 유치하려 힘쓰고 있습니다. 그리고 한국의 드라마, K-Pop은 점점 그 영역을 확대해가고 있죠!
이처럼 한 국가의 문화예술과 컨텐츠 산업은 이제 나라를 대표하는 산업이 될 수 있는 만큼 중요한 비즈니스 모델이 되었습니다. 영국은 예전부터 음악, 드라마, 뮤지컬, 다큐멘터리, 축구, Festival, 미술전시등 연중 내내 개최되고 연계 산업뿐만 아니라 국자 정책역시 오랫동안 발전을 해왔기 때문에 이런 선진 학문을 배우기 위해 영국으로 예술경영학을 목표로 하시는 분이 점점 더 많아 지고 있습니다.
일반적으로 "예술 경영"이라고 부르고 있지만, 경영,예술, 문화정책등 접목되는 분야가 넓은 만큼 각 대학교마다 예술경영 전공을 개설하고 운영하는 College, School(단과대학)은 모두 다르며 이에 따라 각 학교마다 수업에서 중점을 두는 차이가 큽니다.

| You will need to have, or be expecting to obtain, a first or upper second class honours bachelor's degree from a UK university or an equivalent qualification from an overseas university. Ideally your degree should be in an arts, humanities, media or business related subject. |

| 학교/전공에 따라 차이점은 있지만, 예술 경영은 다분야의 전공이나 경력자들을 선호합니다.
예술 경영 전공에서 가장 중요한 부분은 예술 문화 산업에 대한 이해와 이후 진로등이 명확한 사람들을 선호하기 때문에 Personal Statement가 정말 중요한 전공이고, 학교에 따라 추가 Essay나 Interview 필요 시되는 학교들이 있습니다.
